Understanding Grief

Supporting Your Partner Through Loss

If YOU are someone who is grieving a loss...

  • Do you wish that your partner understood your loss on a deeper level?
  • Do you wish they had the understanding and tools to help you through hard moments or anniversaries?
  • Do you wish that they understood how the loss of a parent affects you on multiple levels and that it's normal for you to struggle?

If your PARTNER is grieving a loss...

  • Would you like to be able to understand what they are going through on a deeper level
  • Would you like to gain tools to help her cope with tough moments, holidays and anniversaries?
  • Would you like to know how to give support that's unique to your partner's needs?

I have been a therapist specializing in parent loss for over ten years. In that time one of the biggest issues my clients struggle with is wishing their partner had a better understanding of what they are going through. The loss of a parent (whether in childhood, adolescence, or adulthood) impacts us on many levels, and often plays a role in the flow of a romantic relationship.

I've helped many spouses and partners come to a better understanding of how they can best support their partner in times when the loss is really affecting them. This course is designed for you and your partner to do on your own, or together.

You will receive...

  • An audio presentation helping you both understand how parent loss affects a woman and how it impacts a relationship, as well as tools to better support each other.
  • An accompanying workbook that helps guide you through this material and information.

I understand the relationship dynamics that come with parent loss on a personal and professional level. As someone who has lost both her parents, one of the most challenging aspects of my grief process has been how my losses affect my romantic partnerships. Understanding how the loss plays out for a woman can be the key to a healthy relationship. I promise that the course will be gentle and has been designed with compassion and understanding for both parties. And I know that doing this work greatly benefits any relationship.
